A perfect weekend in Limassol with kids
If you only have a weekend in Limassol with the kids, here's what we'd actually do. We've grouped the picks the way our family uses them - a Saturday in town, a Sunday excursion - so you can build your own version.
Saturday morning - in town
Beach or seafront, then a relaxed lunch with a play area.
70+ mind-bending optical illusions, tilted rooms and photo-perfect installations across two floors at the Marina - a guaranteed hit with kids 5+ and brilliant on a hot day.
Limassol's lush central gardens with shaded palm-lined paths, a small but well-kept zoo (mouflon, monkeys, big cats, reptile house) and a play area. Easy stroller terrain right in town.
Soft golden sand framed by a fragrant eucalyptus grove - one of the few in-town beaches with proper natural shade. Shallow swims, lifeguards in season and a long pedestrian path right behind.
Limassol's iconic seafront park: a flat 1km stroller-friendly promenade lined with palms, sculptures and three large playgrounds. Bike rentals at either end and the marina at the south.
Saturday lunch - family-friendly eats

Café inside Limassol's biggest indoor fun park. The café-restaurant inside Bubble Park - drinks, snacks and full meals while kids play under staff supervision. Open Tue–Fri 15:00–21:00 and weekends 10:30–21:00 (confirm seasonally).
Peter Pan-themed beachside playground, white-tablecloth food. Elegant Mediterranean restaurant on the bay of Limassol with a dedicated, themed children's playground installed in 2023. Sunbeds and a beach bar alongside.
Right on the sand near St Raphael Marina. A long-standing Uptown Square Group beach bar and restaurant directly on Parekklisia community beach. Mediterranean menu, sunset views, sunbeds for hire.
Café and playground side-by-side on Dasoudi beach. A small café and full playground set together on the eucalyptus-shaded Dasoudi promenade. Casual food, juices and ice cream within arm's reach of the swings.
Limassol institution since 1999 - playground, escape room, café in one. Family-run since 1999. An indoor playground for ages 1–10 with a café and party rooms; older siblings (8–12) get an escape room. Drop-in play and birthday parties.
