Shaded beaches & seafront strolls

Soft golden sand framed by a fragrant eucalyptus grove - one of the few in-town beaches with proper natural shade. Shallow swims, lifeguards in season and a long pedestrian path right behind.
Limassol's iconic seafront park: a flat 1km stroller-friendly promenade lined with palms, sculptures and three large playgrounds. Bike rentals at either end and the marina at the south.
A 7km stretch of hard-packed sand and pebbles on the Akrotiri side of the bay. The water stays ankle-shallow for a long way out, making it the obvious toddler-friendly counterpoint to Dasoudi - and the further south you drive past the cranes, the prettier it gets.
A Blue Flag city beach with offshore breakwaters that keep the water exceptionally calm — ideal for young swimmers. Has a children's playground on the sand, wheelchair-accessible water entry and lifeguard cover from April to October.
A 1.5 km Blue Flag beach set between the dramatic white cliffs of Cape Aspro, with a sand-and-pebble shore and clear, calm water that suits family swimming.

A green urban park around Lanitio Stadium with a duck pond, shaded pathways under mature trees, flower beds and a children's playground — a peaceful central spot for families.
A spacious fenced grassy community park in Parekklisia village with a generous playground area, plenty of room to run and a village taverna nearby.
A 125-hectare state forest park six kilometres from the city, with a large picnic area, BBQ stations, a children's playground, nature trails, an amphitheatre and a small Museum of Natural History.

Head somewhere air-conditioned with a play area in sight - Hunnies & Bunnies, Bubble Park's Yummie Lounge or Joy Bow. For a beach, Dasoudi has natural eucalyptus shade and is the most toddler-friendly option in the city.
Are Limassol beaches safe for toddlers?+
Dasoudi and Lady's Mile are the easiest with under-3s - shallow entry, lifeguards in season (typically May–October) and shaded grass behind the sand. Always bring sun protection: shade, a hat and reef-safe SPF.
Are Limassol cafés stroller-friendly?+
