Private English-speaking schools in Limassol: a parent's guide
Choosing a school is usually the decision that drives everything else when a family moves to Limassol - where you live, your commute, even your social circle. The city has a mature cluster of private English-medium schools, mostly following the British curriculum through to IGCSE and A-Levels, plus newer IB, Cambridge and alternative-curriculum options.
Every school below has been verified against its own official website. Where a school doesn't publish something publicly - most fees, for example - we say so rather than guess. All private schools in Cyprus must be approved by the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth under the Private and Tutorial Schools Law of 2019, and each of the schools listed here is Ministry-licensed.
One practical note before you start: the popular schools fill up fast. The Heritage Private School is already processing admissions for 2027-2028, so treat this as an 18-month project, not a summer task.

Are private English schools in Limassol regulated?+
Yes. Under Cyprus's Private and Tutorial Schools Law of 2019, no private school may operate without the approval of the Minister of Education, Sport and Youth, following the consent of the Advisory Committee for Private Education. Every school listed here states its Ministry licence on its own website.
Which schools publish their fees?+
Most Limassol private schools don't publish tuition fees online - you request them during admissions. The notable exception is Foley's School, which publishes a full fee-structure PDF (a 2026-27 edition is on its site). The Heritage also maintains per-department fees pages, and Silverline publishes its application and deposit charges.
What age range do the schools cover?+
Most run from age 2-3 (Early Years) through to 18-19: Heritage (2-19), Silverline (3-18), The Island Private School (from age 3), Foley's (Pre-Reception to Upper Sixth) and PASCAL (nursery to graduation). IMS Private School is the exception - secondary only, from around age 13.
When should we apply?+
Earlier than you think. The Heritage Private School's admissions page is already processing the 2027-2028 cycle, and the most sought-after schools maintain waiting lists for popular year groups. If you're relocating for a September start, begin conversations at least a full school year ahead.
Do any schools run a school bus?+
Silverline Private School confirms a dedicated school bus service on its website. Other schools don't state transport arrangements publicly - ask during admissions, and let it influence where you choose to live.
Is there a school in Limassol offering the IB Diploma?+
Yes - PASCAL English School Lemesos offers the IB alongside the British track, Trinity Private School is an authorised IB school, and The Island Private School runs IB within its blended programme. Several more are in development, so this list is worth re-checking each admissions cycle.
